What to do if it is raining, or rain in the forecast…

Before the race:

Call the track phone  814-836-9907 for the recorded message. Rider safety comes first.

If there is a tremendous storm on the way, you can most likely count on the race being cancelled. However, many regular rainstorms will not always cancel a race or practice. The rain seems to bypass the track when it is raining in other local suburbs.

 At the race:

In the event of lightning being seen or near by thunder heard, the race will be temporarily delayed or cancelled.

In the event of rain, track officials will evaluate the condition of the track and determine if race will be held or continue.

The track is designed to drain quickly and can be used when wet.

If rain is in the forecast you may want to bring an umbrella, raincoat, towel, and an extra pair of clothes.
