The National Bicycle League is North America's premiere bicycle motocross racing organization. Presque Isle BMX track is an NBL sanctioned track in Erie, PA.

You need to fill out the application/registration form from the BMX track to become a member of the NBL. Make sure to bring a copy of your Birth Certificate, driver's license, or approved State ID. If you are under 18, you must have a parent of legal guardian to be there to sign with you. They do not have to be present at the races, however you need to have a signed waiver confirming that the person you are with is legally responsible.

The cost is $45.00 for an annual membership, and $45.00 for each additional family member. Please bring cash or check, we are not set up to take credit card payments. Additional fees will apply for any race you attend ( see the registration page), however your first day of practice/race will be free upon full payment. (ask if we offer one day trials or 30 day trials at the registration booth) You are welcome to attend one of our open houses where you can just try out the track for a fee of $3.00 and a signed waiver from the track, and that way you can see if you like it before committing to an annual membership. (see schedule page).

As a member of the NBL, you will be entitled to race at any NBL track in the country, which includes Nationals, Regionals, State Qualifiers, and the State Championship. Also as an NBL member, you will receive free secondary insurance from the organization while riding on one of our tracks.

You should keep your copy of the membership form in a safe place for future reference. You will receive a membership card in a couple of weeks with your permanent NBL number. You need to keep this membership card next to your driver's license because you will need to show it at any race you plan to attend. Please do not forget to bring your card with you if you plan on going to any out of town tracks.

You will receive a free subscription to the magazine BMX today, the official magazine of the NBL, which you will receive one copy per month, per household and it will be mailed to your listed address. You will receive a number plate from the NBL the day that you register including your new permanent NBL numbers!

Good Luck and we hope to see you soon!
